Well, we drove a lot on this day with no pictures to mark the momentous occasion. And no way to blog because no internet access. This is the first chance we've had to do any blogging.
Driving along the Mississippi at dusk I saw some weird little lights flying around and thought I was seeing things. Fire flies! Cool! I asked the lady at our campsite (The Mark Twain - next to the Tom Sawyer cave) and she gave me a really dull look and said, "ya... those are fire flies." Probably the way I would react to someone who has never seen a real 'mountain' before. Yup, them's mountains. Anyway, I've only seen imitation fire flies at Disneyland (Pirates of the Carribean), so we were excited.
