Day 3

Day 3
I've been informed that I should talk less about car performance and more about location. Who cares about that? Fine. Today We drove out to Junction City, Kansas to visit Aunt Carolyn. Kansas, at least this part of it, was beautiful (although hot and muggy). I always pictured Kansas as a flat, bland, corn-producing state. There are rolling green hills with lots of trees, lots of racoon roadkill, and really old delapitated farm houses and grain silos. Nothing like I pictured it. It is very corn-producing, though. This is a picture of us fine dining at the local favorite "Denny's." The sister missionary on the left is Sister Cook from Evanstan, Wy. I think it did Jacque lots of good to see Carolyn again.

Next, Jacque found out that the official "Brown vs. The Board of Education" building was in Topeka, on our way home from Junction City. So we stopped there, saw the sights, and bought trinketry. We should have taken more pictures inside... sorry, Lisa.
